Xbox 360 DVD drive replacement?

I'm getting a xenon xbox 360 from my friend but the DVD drive is broken I'm planning on flashing/ jtaging it anyway so how do I replace the DVD drive ? I know I have to change the new DVD drive key vault to the same but it is that simple?
