What is the best hair straightener out there?

I'm so confused I'm thinking of buying a new hair straightener. My CHI is finally done. I did love this straightener in the beginning however near the end I was getting very frustrated with it. Therefore, I want to try something new. I've been told that GHD is the best and I know they are a little pricey but I am willing to pay it if it is good. I have heard that the CROC inflared flat iron is also very good and a little less in price vs the GHD. Does anyone have any thoughts my hair is natural wavy so I would like something that would help give that straight sleek and shiny look. I'm hearing also that both these straighteners seem to brake quickly. This is why I'm looking for some help. So if anyone has these straighteners or recommend any other straighteners please help thanks. P.S. I am looking for something that you find in a salon. Thanks again
