IS THIS HOW TO TREAT ICH HELP?

I bought a fish from petco(last time i will buy one there) and put it in my 10 gallon tank with other healthy ones. 4 days later, white spots all over the fish. i removed it and put it in a bowl, and added the right amount of ich guard to the bowl. i put ich guard in the tank too, because one fish had 2 or 3 spots on im. i waited 18 hours while raising the temperature, then siphoned out 25% water in the tak and changed water in the bowl. is this a good job? what to do from here? the bowl fish has long starts or white stuff hanging off from him but seems perky and the other fish are perky as well, the problem is the bowl fish wont really eat
